"electronic comp no1" is a compilation of works by Potsdam's local experimental electronic musicians. It goes without saying that none of this could have happened without the incredible contributions Dr. Jerod Sommerfeldt has made to Potsdam's music culture, both inside and outside of The Crane School of Music. All participating artists have at some juncture taken a Computer Music course with Dr. Sommerfeldt. We wish to express to him our tremendous gratitude.
